Motion Compensation for Long Integration Times and DoA Processing in Passive Radars

چکیده

In this work, a multistage target motion compensation solution for long integration times and the direction of arrival processing in geostationary-satellite-based passive radars is presented. Long intervals are considered to compensate associated propagation loss, but during time dynamics can extend backscattering more than one range or Doppler cell. To control gain-processing reduction, combination detection, tracking, feature extraction, filtering techniques designed provide automatic adaptation each unknown dynamic area interest. The proposed methodology validated with real data acquired by radar demonstrator developed University Alcalá (IDEPAR), results confirm that monitoring exploiting digital video broadcasting-satellite (DVB-S) signals clearly improved.

Target Detection in Bistatic Passive Radars by Using Adaptive Processing Based on Correntropy Cost Function

In this paper a novel method is introduced for target detection in bistatic passive radars which uses the concept of correntropy to distinguish correct targets from false detections. In proposed method the history of each cell of ambiguity function is modeled as a stochastic process. Then the stochastic processes consist the noise are differentiated from those consisting targets by constructing...

Fpga Implementation of Space-time Adaptive Processing (stap) Algorithm for Target Detection in Passive Radars

Abstract—Space-Time Adaptive Processing (STAP) algorithm has recently been used in Passive Bi-static Radars (PBR) because it removes the clutter and non-cooperative transmitter effectively making the target detection easy in harsh environments like air-ground. Realtime implementation of STAP is a very challenging task as it is computationally-intensive, time-critical and resource-hungry process...

Integration Scheme for SINS/GPS System Based on Vertical Channel Decomposition and In-Motion Alignment

Accurate alignment and vertical channel instability play an important role in the strap-down inertial navigation system (SINS), especially in the case that precise navigation has to be achieved over long periods of time. Due to poor initialization as well as the cumulative errors of low-cost inertial measurement units (IMUs), initial alignment is not sufficient to achieve required navigation ac...
